Twin Seal Plug Valve

MAIN FEATURES:

The forced sealed guide valve¡¯s sphere, also named as combination ball, is composed of three blocks, of which one wedge cone is in the middle with two inclined planes of 5¡ã at two sides respectively on which dovetail grooves are milled. A guide pin is provided in the center of the valve stem with one idler wheel sliding within the guide groove of the bracket equipped on each side. The motion trail of the valve stem is limited by the guide groove.

Design Features

Design standard: API 6D¡¢GB/T 12224

During closing, no relative friction appears between the plug and the valve body sealing face.

The valves have large flow area, small flow resistance, and high sealing pair hardness.

The valve body and plug sealing faces can be overlayed or sprayed with high-hardness, corrosion-resisting alloy materials.

With small opening and closing torque, which is only 1/2 to 1/3 of that of the gate valve, and with short opening/closing time, which only is 1/5 to 1/10 of that of the gate valve.
